Handle incorporation, investment licensing, corporate governance and contract drafting for domestic and foreign-invested clients, and join legal due diligence projects with the Transactions team.
Job description
- Handle company incorporation, issuance and amendment of investment licences, and changes to business registration.
- Draft and review commercial and employment contracts, charters, resolutions and meeting minutes.
- Help clients standardise workplace rules, salary scales and HR records.
- Take part in legal due diligence for M&A and restructuring: reviewing licences, assets, contracts and disputes.
- Track new regulations and contribute to regular legal updates for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws; completion of, or enrolment in, the lawyer training programme is an advantage.
- At least two years' experience at a law firm, advisory firm or in-house legal team.
- Good understanding of corporate, investment, contract and employment law.
- Strong legal English (reading and drafting); Japanese or Korean is an advantage.
- Precise with wording, well organised and strictly confidential.
